Our Commitment

Purple Triangle LLC is committed to making purpletriangleweb.com usable for as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We apply the same standards to the websites we build for clients.

What We Have Done

• One main heading per page and a logical heading order
• Text and background colors chosen for at least 4.5 to 1 contrast
• Visible focus outlines on links, buttons, and form fields
• A skip to content link at the top of each page
• Labels above every form field and clear error messages
• Tap targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels and layouts that work on phones
• Reduced motion respected when your device asks for it
• Our own Purpletriangle Accessibility Suite toolbar, with options such as text size, contrast, line height, and reading aids

Known Limitations

Linked client websites and third-party services may not meet the same standards. We know of no other open issues at the moment. If you find one, email us and we will respond within one business day.

How We Test

We check pages with automated tools and by hand, including keyboard-only navigation and phone, tablet, and desktop layouts. We check key pages with keyboard navigation and a screen reader before launch.
